With only a few days to spare we would be spending Christmas once again, with the cold nights and the holiday spirit already in the air one could feel the coming of the season. I adore spending Christmas not just because of the holiday feast or the fact that there would be no work on the holiday but because of the gifts. Just admit it, Christmas would not be considered this big an occasion without the gift giving aspect of it. For those struggling businesses and also for those few who love to shop, it is the perfect season with the Christmas bonus and the 13th month pay just recently given to every working guy and gal. This festive occasion is usually accompanied by mall wide sales, bazaars or bargain stalls, which for some who enjoy shopping or just browsing around thus it gives the perfect reason to shop till you drop. One of my favorite things to do, which is browsing around the mall, makes searching for the perfect presents to give to my loved ones not a chore, and if you happen to notice a small girl fighting against another girl for the last pair of bargain boots that would be me. One of things that make me happy, honestly speaking, is to see the receiver of your present enjoy his or her gift. When I see my hard working parents use the spa gift certificate I reserved for them a month in advance or seeing the silver ring I searched for days in the men’s rings jewelry section of the mall being worn by my boyfriend, it gives me so much joy. From the preparation to buying, or at dire times scavenging, to the actual giving and acceptance, Gift giving is an experience and is one of the reasons why Christmas would always be an occasion worth celebrating.
